Ham Radio Dipole Antenna for 10 meters- Full-Wave
Ham Radio Dipole Antenna for 10 meters- Full-Wave
Full-wave 10 meter dipole antenna measuring approximately 33 feet, 5.14 inches (33’ 5.14”) in length, split as approximately 16 feet, 8.57 inches (16’ 8.57”) on each side. Made from high quality 16 AWG stranded insulated wire. The center feed point can be held up by rope or however you see fit using the eye-lit loop on top, and you can tie into the ends with something non-conductive like nylon, hemp, etc. Run your feed line with a PL-259 up and connect in to the SO-239 on the bottom. Color of wire insulation varies. Please keep in mind that this particular model is a full-wave, and since full-wave dipoles run at a higher impedance, they should be fed with a higher impedance feed like twin lead/ladder line. If you are intending on using a low loss feed like RG8, 8x, 58, or 213 coax, you would want to opt for a half-wave dipole. This unit will handle up to 1,000 watts.
