2 Meter Half-wave Dipole Ham Radio Antenna with 1:1 choke

Half-wave 2 meter dipole antenna with internal 1:1 choke balun.  It measures approximately 3 feet, 5 inches (3' 5”) in length, split as approximately 1 ft, 8.5 inches (1’ 8.5”) on each side. This length makes it about an inch too long on each side for the bottom of the band, so that there is a little breathing room to adjust and tune as you may desire.  It is made from high quality 16 AWG stranded insulated wire.  The center feed point can be held up by rope or however you see fit using the eye-lit loop on top, and you can tie into the ends with something non-conductive like nylon, hemp, etc. (I use fishing line for my own which stays nearly invisible and has held up great for years.)  Run your feed line with a PL-259 up and connect in to the SO-239 on the bottom. Color of wire insulation varies. This unit will handle up to 400 watts.
